Rejected this because the joke was pretty crappy, and Godzilla had already appeared (albeit out of picture) in another strip that will be uploaded here eventually.  He then turned up yet again in a much later strip, but never mind.

In hindsight, it may also have been a factor that Godzilla looks terribly bland in this sketch. If he'd turned out more cool looking I might have been inspired to give the idea another go.
