Still more stuff by Mikael and Anna-Karin. His characters Carnak and Denim make another appearance, though this piece is actually older than the last one.

Mikael later told me one reader had complained that Bernard looks overly stupid here. I didn't mind but yeah, knowing the other two he's probably the brightest of the bunch.

Denim's hair and clothes have switched colors here. Then again, their own comic is all b/w so she's pretty flexible in that respect. Her clothes are black on the Deadline Comics cover.

Trivia: Mikael's also posted a version of this one on Facebook with black gutter and slightly simplified dialog in English. (”These are the heroes destined to save our world?” ”We're as good as dead!”)  I considered using that version here, but decided I preferred a more puristic translation from the Swedish original.
