Apologies for the Swedish sound effect (roughly, ”KA-SIZZLE”) – editing it just turned out to be too much of a hassle.  Back in 2004 I used to delete my Photoshop files as soon as the strips were done and delivered, to save disk space which my laptop was chronically short of, so I only have strips from that year as .tif or .eps files without layers.

The girl's pile of treasure includes Uncle Scrooge's number one dime in its glass box, and a lightbulb. I'm not sure what I thought was so funny about the latter one. Magic lamp..?
