This strip was a popular one, but it also drew a bit of criticism – Sweden has plenty of Æsir afficinados who can be pretty anal puristic with the details. Yes, Valhalla is supposed to be a wee bit bigger than that, and the old sagas make no mention of topless Valkyries consorting with the Einherjar. They don't mention horned helmets or furry open-air loincloths either.

Background cameos by Odin's ravens on the roof, and Thor taking a leak around the corner. I considered drawing Odin hanging from the tree but didn't want to clutter the scene.
